The Called Retreat is an event for 8th grade–Senior students from the Metroplex who come together to learn more about their calling to Christian ministry.
Students are able to engage with men and women in ministry and learn how best to pursue their calling, and be encouraged by peers and members of their community to share their faith.
The day includes large group sessions, 'Table Talks' with ministers to help answer questions about specific ministry, lunch, exhibitors, give-a-ways, and time to connect with other students from the Metroplex who are interested in ministry. Cost of $30 also includes a conference sweatshirt.

Warren Samuels is the President and Mission Leader at NEXT Worldwide Student Missions. He is passionate about engaging the NEXT generation in the mission of God.

Guest Speaker Dr. Matt Henslee
Dr. Matt Henslee is the pastor of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, the husband of Rebecca, and the father of four teenage daughters they adopted in 2015. He is the graduate of Dallas Baptist University (BA) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv; DMin), and is actively involved in the Irving community, his local association, state conventions, and the Southern Baptist Convention in a variety of ways.

If you need to cancel for any reason, you can choose to substitute one student for another student or receive a 50% refund until January 22nd. In the event of inclement weather, we will issue a 50% refund and you may pick up your shirts at Frisco First Baptist Church.
