Summer Shorts Bible Studies

Start Wednesday, June 11th
Offered Mornings & Evenings

Frisco First will offer a series of short summer Bible studies that cover the Doctrine of God, Trinity, Sin, Salvation, Church, Last Days, Angels over 6 weeks, and ALL ADULTS are welcome. These studies will be led by Rick Crocker, David Fuquay and Christy Williams, and will be offered on Wednesday mornings and evenings. There will also be a Women’s study on how to fight anxiety with the Word of God offered on Wednesday mornings (childcare available). The women’s group will be facilitated by Carrie Martin, Heather Wright, and Kelly Shoemaker. Studies start Wednesday, June 11th and end on July 23rd (with the week of July 4th off.) Co-Ed Studies: Wednesdays from 10–11:30am in The Five One, OR from 6:30–7:45pm in the Worship Center. (no childcare.) The Book of James Co-Ed Study

The Wednesday night co-ed group will conclude the study of Galatians on March 12th, and return from spring break on March 26th to start a study on The Book of James. The group will be led by Jake Anderson; please sign-up at the link above.

Blue 101 (Membership Class)

Sunday, April 27th
3:30–4:30pm in the Lounge

Blue 101 is where 6th-12th graders new to Blue learn about the church and what membership means. Students must attend in order to participate in mission trips and to serve with the children’s ministry. Blue 101 is held every last Sunday of the month; no sign-up necessary.

Kids On Mission (K-5th)

Kids On Mission is a program where kids learn, grow, and serve through mission projects and partnerships with ministries that share the Gospel while meeting needs. The Cubbies program teaches Bible basics and scripture memorization through music, puppet shows and games. Cubbies is open to potty trained 3 & 4 year olds. . Cost is $45/child for the year; classes end in May.

Trip to Greece with Pastor Chuck

This trip includes a 2-night Aegean Cruise, a trip to a Turkish market, tours of ancient ruins, and the exploration of modern Mediterranean cities. Men's Bible Study: 1st Timothy

What does a healthy church look like? What does it mean to be a member of God’s family? And who should lead the church? These questions are essential for us to answer if we want the church to thrive. Thankfully, we don't have to guess the answers. The apostle Paul wrote to his young protégé, Timothy, just as Timothy was stepping in to lead the church at Ephesus. His letter shows us how the church should function and gives a special glimpse into the maturity, trust, and love that mentorship can produce in our lives. Join Dr. James Meeks and his protégé Dr. Charlie Dates in this 7-session series as they explore the major themes in Paul’s first letter to Timothy. Led by Brian Alford

Instead, the Bible tells us we can rest, knowing that Jesus walked into the broken, sad, scary places to rescue us and love us. He is the One who fixes. His is the only protection that matters.
