Happenings at Frisco First

Celebrate the birth of Christ with us on Christmas Eve at one of four service times, 1:30pm, 3pm, 4:30pm, or 6pm. We’ll have candlelight worship and hot cocoa as we focus on why Jesus was born; to fulfill God’s promise, to reveal the Father and reconcile us to Him, and to give us second birth.

LIFEGroups, Student Ministry, FirstKids, and Preschool will not meet; a hospitality room will be available for parents who need to step out with children. Invite your friends and family!

Student Small Groups Study

Wednesdays at 6:30pm

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED

This semester will be a little different, with a mix of worship and Bible study! We’ll start with six weeks of large group worship and message, then do an eight-week study exploring how God prepares our hearts to be catalysts of revival.

Bluesgiving!

Wednesday, November 20th
from 6:30–8pm in the Gym

All 6th–12th grade students are invited to celebrate Bluesgiving on Wednesday night! Student Ministry will provide the turkey and other main dishes; middle school bring desserts, 9th-11th grades bring sides, and 12th grade brings bread/rolls.

SAVE THE DATES

Disciple Now (D-Now) Student Conference is a weekend-long gathering of students that cultivates intentional discipleship in the life of teens. Students will stay overnight at host homes and gather at the church for worship, study, and fun. The weekend includes guest speakers, games & contests, Bible study and free fellowship time. It is an awesome time to meet new friends and build relationships. Save the date and stay tuned for details and registration announcements.

Pajama Sunday

Sunday, December 8th

Preschoolers and FirstKids are invited to wear their pajamas to church on Sunday morning! We will have hot chocolate and a fun treat, sing Christmas carols and have a fun time of worship and celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Preschool Cubbies

The Cubbies program teaches Bible basics and scripture memorization through music, puppet shows and games. Cubbies is open to potty trained 3 & 4 year olds. . Cost is $45/child for the year; classes end in May.

Deacons provide counsel, encouragement, and accountability to our Pastors and staff, and care for the church body. Our deacon ministry is biblically based, with its qualifications outlined in Acts 6:1-7, Philippians 1 :1, & 1 Timothy 3:8-12. Please review these passages and take some time to consider church members you know for these positions. Please make your nominations by December 8th.

This study will be led by Christy Williams; childcare available. 1st & 2nd Timothy & Titus Study Starts Wednesday, August 21st 6:30–7:45pm in the Adult Building, 502 Join us for a study of “the way to live and lead for Christ” as we read through Paul’s letters to Timothy & Titus, presented by Dr. David Jeremiah. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own book. This study will be led by Jaci Jackson; childcare available.
