FRTG Prayer Guide

ltgrnleaf-hz.png

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the abundant blessings You have poured out upon us. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we are humbled by Your grace and provision.

Lord, we pray that You would stir within our church a spirit of generosity that reflects Your heart. Help us to give not out of obligation, but out of love—love for You and love for our neighbors. May our giving be a testimony of our faith, a demonstration of our commitment to the work of Your Kingdom.

Father, we ask that You bless our offerings, tithes, and acts of service, so that they may be used mightily to advance Your gospel. Let our resources be a beacon of hope to those in need, a source of support for the ministries that proclaim Your Word, and a means of reaching the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Guide our church leaders with wisdom and discernment as they steward the gifts entrusted to us. Help us to be faithful in all that we do, ensuring that every dollar, every hour, and every talent is invested in ways that honor You and further Your purposes.

Lord, give us generous hearts that are willing to sacrifice for the sake of others. Let us be known as a church that gives freely and joyfully, reflecting the generosity of our Savior, who gave His life for us.

May our generosity be a light in our community, drawing others to know Your love and grace. And in all things, may You receive the glory and praise, for You alone are worthy.

We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

THE PRAYER OF FRISCO FIRST

dkgrnleaf-cut6.png
ltgrnleaf-hz-cut4.png

Frisco First, like our community looked much different than it does today. Over the course of the past two decades, our worship services, ministry programming and campus have undergone significant changes in order to more effectively pursue our mission of inviting people into relationship with Jesus and each other. Like many of you, Kim and I remodeled our 20-year-old home during and shortly after 2020. We did the same thing as a church; by adding an online ministry, launching a college and young adult ministry, and freshening up our facilities, which included creating a café and green space between the north and south buildings.

Our senior leadership and futures team have been working behind the scenes since late 2022 considering options, interviewing architects, and developing a plan that makes sense financially and enables us to take a major step forward, facility wise. Now is time for us to fund this much needed expansion. Finishing Rooted to Grow will provide an indoor atrium/gathering space, expand and improve our worship center seating, and provide new and improved playground space for our little ones. I am asking that you prayerfully consider what the Lord would have your family do in helping fund this project. Our goal is to raise $8 million dollars over the next three years so that we can complete the project without adding to our long-term debt. To be able to accomplish this, each of us will need to do what we are able to do in support of this project. I am asking you to prayerfully consider pledging a generous amount to Finishing Rooted to Grow, so that we can continue to see the ministry of Frisco First, expand and thrive.

—Here's how; Here's when—Make your pledge to give here.

Thank you or your generous support of Frisco First and specifically our expansion through Finishing Rooted to Grow-your contribution is vital to continued ministry God has called us to do in the heart of Frisco.

When Kim and I moved to Frisco 22 years ago,

Yours in Christ,

PASTOR CHUCK MARTIN

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

A Vision for Growth and Community

Frisco First has always been a church of warmth and welcome, a place where hearts are touched, the gospel of Jesus is shared, and lives are transformed. As our congregation grows and our outreach expands, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment. As we outgrow our current facilities, we need to make room to invite more people into a relationship with Jesus and each other.

Expanding Our Welcome

A large, new lobby will serve as the heart of our church, offering a spacious and inviting foyer where every visitor and member can feel at home. This central gathering space will enhance our fellowship, allowing us to connect more deeply and build stronger relationships within our church family and community. Imagine a place where conversations flow freely, where new friends are made, and where the spirit of unity and warmth is felt by all who enter our doors.

Enhancing Our Worship Center

The addition of stadium seating in our worship center is more than just an upgrade—it's about elevating our worship experience. As our church family continues to grow, we need a space that reflects our commitment to excellence in worship and teaching. With improved seating, every member will have a clear view and an enhanced experience during our services. This upgrade will ensure that our worship environment continues to inspire, uplift, and engage everyone who comes to worship together.

Investing in Our Future Generations

Our children are the future of our church, and we are dedicated to providing them with spaces that are safe, engaging, and nurturing. New playgrounds will offer our young ones a place to play, learn, and grow in a secure environment. These new facilities will not only enrich their Sunday school experience but will also serve as a testament to our commitment to investing in the next generation.

Why Now?

The time to act is now. As our community continues to expand, the need for additional space becomes more pressing. By supporting this capital campaign, you are not only contributing to the physical growth of our church but also to its spiritual vitality. This is an opportunity to ensure that our church remains a welcoming, vibrant, and effective place of worship and community for years to come.

Your support will help us create a space that reflects our values (You Belong Here, We Become Like Jesus Together, and Others Benefit from Our Sharing), enabling us to continue our mission of ‘inviting others into relationship with Jesus and one another’ with greater impact and effectiveness. Together, let’s embrace this opportunity to grow, to welcome more families into our church that has welcomed each of us in as a family, and to prepare our facilities to meet the needs of our expanding congregation.

Join us in this exciting journey of faith and growth. Your contribution will make a lasting difference, building a legacy for future generations and strengthening the foundation of the vibrant Frisco community.

We aim to raise $8 million in less than three years!

The Part You Play

PSALM 52:9

We desire to raise $8 million to complete Finishing Rooted to Grow Phase I. This project will require more leaders and volunteers. It will require our church family to gladly own this vision through faithful prayer and service. It will require all of us to give financially. Part of your role in this story will be to exercise your God-given gifts in a powerful way. We all have a part, and we are eager to watch the Lord prove Himself faithful again!

Finishing Rooted to Grow is the most significant building project in the history of our church. We are asking you to consider your part in our ongoing legacy. How will you contribute to this vision?

$8 million is a lofty goal, one that we believe only the Lord can accomplish. We depend on your generosity to resource our ongoing ministry each year. With Finishing Rooted to Grow, we are asking you to give in addition to your regular contributions toward this campaign. This next step of our vision is ambitious. We understand the trust and sacrifice that this kind of commitment requires, but we are confident that God, in His goodness, will meet all of our needs and align our hearts more closely with His as we share the gifts He has entrusted to us.
